Our group finished up the digital literacy assignment in the last month. I created about ten questions on Kahoot about identifying tricks and scams online. After a class goes through the pre-lesson activity and slideshow that we created, they can quiz themselves on their knowledge through the Kahoot that I made.
Huesna and I were sent to help Mr. Tubio in the language lab with updating his Chromebooks. They needed to be updated in order to run testing programs for Northgate. In addition to this, I also made a teacher profile about Mr. Tubio. I interviewed him, asking about ten or so questions. The questions were pretty standard, like how he got started teaching and his favorite part about being at Northgate.
Mr. Farrar also asked me to help him out again with an app called Doceri. Doceri allows for teachers to present lessons from their tablet or desktop, but with annotating abilities. Basically, he can write out math problems on his iPad and have them projected to the whole class. He was able to download the app, but he was having a hard time figuring out how to project what he was doing to the whole class.
