These last two weeks have been spent mainly helping Mr. Farrar with a few things. He has been trying to figure out a few new ways to quiz his students so he asked me for help. I first changed a few Kahoot quizzes into Socrative quizzes for him. Then, I tried something somewhat new. Mr. Farrar wanted to try using Flubaroo on a Google Form. I would make a Google Form with all of the questions and then using Flubaroo, I can make an answer key that will grade responses to the form (quiz). Another thing I did for Mr. Farrar was to set up Doceri for him. Doceri is a application that allows you to create and present lessons from your iPad or tablet to the whole class. This means that Mr. Farrar can write out math problems on his iPad and have the whole class see him solving the problem. Mr. Farrar can also use Doceri to control what is being projected to the class from his desktop, which will allow him to wander about the room while teaching.
As I have continued working on my ILE, Mr. Tobin told us that we need to create a video about our ILE to present to the class. So I looked into some programs for video editing and making and I came across Kizoa. I think that it mainly only has basic functions, but it will work just fine for a short clip for my ILE.
