I started the week off by finishing up the layout of my website. Then in class, we watched a video about kids designing their own school. One of the activities that they have to complete is the individual endeavor, which we will also be doing. It gave us more information about it and an idea of what we could do for our individual learning endeavor. So I began my research on not only that, but also the other projects that I will be working on. I decided that I want to review the application called Socrative Student, which is an application that allows students to take quizzes or play games created by their teachers to help them understand that subject.
I then helped out a teacher for the first time this year. Her projector was not aligned correctly and the screen appeared blurry. We tried to see if it just needed to be focused, but it ended up having a dusty lens. After cleaning it off, we adjusted the projector's position and it started working fine.
I also tried to begin the Google Ninja Program. Even though the website wasn't responding correctly, I was able to begin the first course. The first lessons of the first course were about the different features of gmail. I learned about some features that I didn't even know existed, but the website crashed before I could get to try them out. Next week I hope that I can continue using the Google Ninja Program.
