When the new semester started, a new project started. I began working on Choose to Code, which helped me learn about html code. Using their tutorial, I created a website. I learned how to add hyperlinks, photos, and other colorful design aspects to the website. I also had to code part of it to make it mobile friendly. However, the hardest part was putting the information and pictures into columns. It kept distorting the photos, but eventually I was able to get it just right.
This week we also started making lessons about digital literacy. This is an important lesson to learn because it helps keep you safe while online. Using information from iKeepSafe, we got into groups to create a lesson plan. My task is to create a Kahoot quiz for the end of the lesson about identifying tricks and scams. Matt will be creating an interesting slide show about how to identify tricks and scams. While Alex and Huesna will create activities for before and after the lesson.
